The InLine® interface card adds four dedicated USB 3.2 Gen.1 ports to desktop PCs, workstations and industrial systems, with up to 5 Gb/s per port. The combination of two external and two internal USB ports makes the card suitable for flexible expansion both within and outside the system.
The PCIe v2.0 x4 connection enables stable data transfer even under sustained high USB load. Unlike simple shared solutions, each USB port operates with its own bandwidth. This makes the card particularly suitable for parallel data transfers with external SSDs, hard drives, cameras, audio interfaces or industrial USB peripherals.
The NEC/Renesas uPD720202 USB host controller supports USB 3.2 Gen.1 as well as USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. USB devices can be connected or removed during operation thanks to hot-swapping. The integrated 4-pin power connector ensures a stable power supply to connected USB devices.
The included low-profile slot bracket also enables use in compact enclosures and industrial PCs.
