PureInstall PI6000 SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps (v3.2 Gen 1x2) USB-C Cable with E-Marker
The PI6000-020 in PureLink's PureInstall series is a 2.00 meter long passive Premium USB-C cable connecting two devices with USB-C sockets according to the USB 3.2 (Gen 1x2) standard with a maximum data transfer rate of 10Gbps. Alternatively, it can be used with USB4 devices, supporting the standard USB4 Gen2x2 with 20Gbps. The cable features nickel-plated USB-C connectors with gold-plated precision contacts on both sides as well as high-purity copper conductors with triple shielding. The cable is equipped with an E-Marker chipset and can thus also be used as a charging cable for USB-C devices using USB Power Delivery with max. 5A / 20V / 100W or 3A / 5V / 15W without USB Power Delivery. It also supports DisplayPort Alt-Mode for transferring data, AV streams with max. 8K / UltraHD-2 30Hz as well as power and control signals via a single connection.
PureInstall - Benchmark for Professional Installations
The USB-C cable range PI6000 to PI6100 in the PureInstall series from PureLink is designed for connecting devices with USB-C or USB-C / USB-A ports. The cables enable data transfer via USB with up to 20Gbps and are compliant with various USB 3.2 SuperSpeed standards. The cables in the range are equipped with USB-C connectors on both sides (PI6000), or with USB-C on one side and USB-A connector on the other (PI6100). They feature a nickel-plated plug housing and gold-plated precision contacts. The USB-C plug is reversible, so there is no need to pay attention to the plug direction. The cables themselves are triple-shielded and equipped with inner conductors made of high-purity copper. All cables are of course also backwards compatible with the older USB 2.0 / 1.1 specifications.
The USB-C only cables (PI6000) are equipped with E-Marker chipset and therefore support USB Power Delivery (USB PD) with up to 5A / 20V / 100W. They are also compatible with the "DisplayPort Alt-Mode" and can therefore be used for the transmission of AV streams in addition to data and power transmission, provided that the source and display device also support the DP Alt-Mode. The transmission is according to DisplayPort 1.4 / 1.2 Alt-Mode standard and supports resolutions up to 8K / UltraHD-2 with 30Hz. When transmitting DisplayPort 1.4 AV signals via Alt-Mode, the cables support a maximum data rate of the USB 2.0 specification for the simultaneous data connection. A full data rate can be achieved if the simultaneous AV resolution matches the DisplayPort 1.2 specification.
USB Alt-Mode also enables the connection of USB docking stations with multiple USB and separate AV ports as well as USB Power Delivery.
All cables with USB-A connector (PI6100) include no E-Marker and do not support DisplayPort Alt-Mode as well as USB Power Delivery. Their maximum charging power is 3A / 5V / 15W.
